Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music artist and singer. The singer released two singles in 2007 and a full album called Satisfied. 2013 was the year she debuted her second album, Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in the year the year 2015. She released The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for more than fifteen years and has spent the majority of that time as deputy city manager in Iowa City. The current Assistant Village Manager's tasks include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department as well as coordinating grant applications and the completion of specific projects. As a part of Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of village services while implementing the strategic vision of elected officials and the community. Ashley has held a variety of positions in the past, including the planning of municipal services and communication for government budgeting, collective bargaining and management of employees and working on climate change-related initiatives. Ashley gained valuable insight from working with national organisations and also from her work with diverse communities. Ashley's training focuses on contemporary methods of leadership and management in the public sector through a perspective of an experienced professional. Alongside providing a context for current and future practitioners Ashley stresses the necessity of adapting today's ethical and strategically-based decision making to meet issues and capitalize on opportunities.
